WLAN LTE router for your ship and the use on the water

Do you want to stay in touch on your ship both on inland waterways and close to the coast?

The seawater-proof and long-range 3G+/WLAN router CAR-A-WAN.marine enables comfortable and cross-border access to the Internet.

Thus, personal communication, the transmission of freight documents as well as the comparison of on-board data with the shipping company are possible in a secure way. Ship passengers can also benefit from the router's WLAN. In the port, the ship router automatically switches from mobile radio to WLAN.

Highly sensitive fibre-glass aerials ensure the best reception as far as off as the horizon.

Reference

Automatic switching between the port WLAN and mobile wireless constituted the challenge for the buoy layers and fire-fighting vessels of the Federal Water and Shipping Administration.

Signal strength, run times and roaming features were analysed automatically and the best connection established.
